Summer time is just so much better when you can spend it with the ones you love – including your four-legged family members! At Big White Ski Resort, we love seeing your pooches hitching rides on the chairlift, wagging their tails in the Village and sniffing flowers in the alpine meadows – but, there are a few basic rules and tips to keep everyone, including your pet, happy, healthy and safe while traversing the mountain.

Another season of bluebird days and powder dumps at Canada’s Favourite Family Resort has come to an end! All of us at Big White Ski Resort want to thank you, our loyal guests, our dedicated staff, and our on-mountain residents, for another epic season of skiing, riding, staying, and playing. For the next couple of months, our heads will be down preparing for the summer – for hiking, biking, festivals and fun – but for right now, let’s take a moment to celebrate the 2021/2022 ski season.

On March 8, International Women’s Day, Big White Ski Resort Ltd and TELUS presented the Kelowna Women’s Shelter with a cheque for $19,415.60, raised during the annual TELUS Kelowna Cup at the end of February.

On Sunday January 30th, 45 Big White Ski Club (BWSC) athletes attained great results at the Nancy Greene South Zone Race hosted by the Apex Ski Club. Since this was the first race for the region since pre-Covid, it made this the FIRST RACE EVER for many of the kids attending.
