NW-SW Ridge winds near 10-20 km/h occasionally gusting to 25-35 km/h are expected through tonight. Freezing levels up to 2400-2800 m are also expected today/tonight.

Synopsis

Lingering moisture may bring cloudy conditions with patchy drizzle this morning, then gradually clearing as the day progresses. A ridge of high pressure will build over the region tonight ushering in dry conditions and above-freezing alpine temperatures into tomorrow with light to moderate ridge winds. The ridge is expected to break down slightly on Thursday with sunny and dry conditions still expected but with moderate to strong ridge winds. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 2500-3000 m are expected today/tomorrow, then falling to 1500-2000 m tomorrow night/Thursday.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

The ridge of high pressure is expected to rebuild on Friday continuing to bring sunny conditions and above-freezing alpine temperatures through Saturday with light to moderate ridge winds as well. Meanwhile, freezing levels are expected to rise to 2000-2400 m on Friday, then 2400-2800 m on Saturday.
