Big White Ski Resort Named Hospitality/Tourism Business of the Year!

Hello, Big White Ski Resort community! We've got some exciting news to share with all our friends, visitors, and supporters.

In honour of Mother's Day, Big White Ski Resort and Big White Central Reservations have recently concluded a successful fundraising campaign, raising $4,000 for the local charity Mamas for Mamas.

Kelowna, BC – May 18, 2023 – Big White Ski Resort is thrilled to announce the successful completion of its fundraising efforts, contributing $5,550 to the KGH Foundation's seventh annual Day of Giving.

Big White Ski Resort is closed for the winter season, and we look forward to welcoming guests on the mountain, June 29, 2023.

While it’s hard to say goodbye to the ski season with an epic amount of snow (27 new centimetres last night!) still gracing the slopes, Big White Ski Resort is officially closed for the 2022/2023 season, and it’s time to start digging out for a summer full of biking, hiking, and music festivals!

Here at Big White Ski Resort, we care, more than anything else, about providing a top quality experience not only for our guests, but for those who make their home on the mountain – including our extensive clowder of Snowcats.

On Wednesday, March 22, Big White Ski Resort hosted nearly 60 Ukrainian refugees of all ages at the Tube Park in Happy Valley for a free day of tubing, socializing and connecting.

The Big White Fire Department camped out on the roof of the Kids' Centre at Big White Ski Resort March 17 to March 19, 2023 to raise money in support of the Thrive Foundation, BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund, and the Big White Volunteer Firefighters Association.
