Synopsis
Lingering moisture courtesy of an upper-level trough is expected to bring flurries and light to moderate ridge winds this afternoon/tonight. A ridge of high pressure builds over the region tomorrow through Wednesday morning, ushering in fair and dry conditions with light ridge winds. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1000-1500 m are expected through Wednesday.
3 to 5 Day Outlook
The ridge of high pressure breaks down Wednesday afternoon and a series of impulses from a Pacific low impacting the south BC coast is expected to bring periods of light snow Wednesday night, followed by isolated flurries Thursday morning and finally periods of snow on Friday. Moderate to strong ridge winds are also expected Wednesday afternoon through Friday. Meanwhile, freezing levels are also expected to remain in the 1000-1500 m range.
