It’s time for us to say farewell to winter, although it seems winter is not quite ready to say goodbye itself. With a snow base currently sitting well over three metres and cumulative snowfall edging closer and closer to the 10 metre mark, the 2017-2018 winter season will not be soon forgotten. We would like to thank all those who joined us and helped make it such a memorable season.

A true Canadian winter experience doesn't have to involve shredding down the slopes on skis or a snowboard - not at all! In fact, some of the most memorable Canadian adventures and culinary destinations can be experienced by anyone, regardless of your experience on the snow. 

When you’re working hard, manoeuvring the slopes through all that champagne powder, sometimes you need a little extra fuel to make it to last chair. We checked with science, and it turns out calories don’t count on a powder day – so enjoy one (or all) of these on-mountain favourites during your next trip!

Looking for some St Patrick’s Day fun? The luck of the Irish must be with you. Big White Ski Resort will be the centre of the craic. We can’t promise you’ll find the pot of gold here at Big White, but you’ll be seeing the rainbow through emerald-tinted goggles.
