Q: How can I receive a discount on lift tickets?
A: Purchase lift tickets online more than 48 hours in advance and receive 25% off. Purchase less than 48 hours in advance and receive 15% off. (Discounts on multi-day tickets are based on the start date, not the subsequent days).
Q: Do I need a promo code to get the discount?
A: No. By simply purchasing online you will have access to discounted tickets.
Q: I do not see the discounted price in the estore. How do I get the discount?
A: The prices shown in the estore are already discounted.
Q: I cannot add a new member to my account?
A: Email email@example.com or call 250-491-6262 for assistance.
Q: Do I have to pay the media fee?
A: Don’t lose it! Reuse it! When you purchase your first ticket of the season you will have to pay the media fee. The ticket can then be reloaded all season long and you will not have to pay the media fee.
Q: How do I pick up my lift tickets?
A: You will be emailed a QR code. Scan this code at a pick-up box to print your tickets.
Q: Where are the Pick-Up Boxes located?
A: Ridge Day Lodge, Black Forest Lodge, Gem Lake Day Lodge, Central Mountain Check In, and the Village Centre Mall.
Q: I did not receive a QR code. What do I do?
A: The QR code will be sent in a separate email from your purchase confirmation. Please check your junk mail folder. If you have still not received a QR code please visit the tickets desk in the Village Centre Mall.
Q: I reloaded my ticket and did not get a QR code. What do I do?
A: When reloading tickets, your existing ticket will be reloaded. You can use the same ticket and go straight to the lifts.
Q: I have a ticket from last season, can I reload it this season?
A: No. Ticket media is only valid for one season, you will have to purchase a new card.
Q: Can I purchase a half day ticket?
A: Half Day tickets are not being sold. Only full day tickets are available.
Q: Do I need to upload a photo to my account?
A: No, photos are not required for lift tickets.
Q: I lost my ticket. How do I get a new one?
A: Please visit the Village Centre Mall Ticket Desk. A new media fee of $5 will be charged.
Q: I have a QR code but the Pick-Up Box will not print my ticket?
A: Please try another pick up box. If that does not work please visit the ticket desk located in the Village Centre Mall. Please inform the ticket agent of what pick up box you were using.
Q: Can I purchase a block of day tickets?
A: Yes. You can purchase a block of up to 9 days at a time. You will select the starting date. The days must be used consecutively from the starting date. The price is based on the selected first day, not subsequent dates.
Q: Is there a limit on the number of tickets Big White is selling?
A: At this time there is no limit on the amount of lift tickets that Big White Ski Resort is selling.
Q: How do I purchase a lift ticket as a gift?
A: We recommend purchasing a Big White Gift Card. Gift cards can be purchased for any amount and never expire. Gift cards can be used to purchase lift tickets.
Q: Can I use a gift card to purchase online?
A: Gift cards cannot be used for online purchases. Please visit the ticket window to purchase tickets with a gift card. The online price will be honoured when using a gift card to purchase lift tickets.
Q: I purchased my ticket for the wrong date. How do I transfer it to the correct date?
A: Please make a new purchase for the correct date. Then email firstname.lastname@example.org with your original purchase receipt and the incorrect purchase will be refunded.
Q: I have a season pass. Do I get a discount on tickets for friends and family?
A: We no longer offer a passholder discount. However, all tickets purchased online 48 hours in advance will be discounted 25%.
Q: Are lift tickets refundable?
A: All Big White Ski Resort lift tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, in the event Big White Ski Resort is forced to close by local, provincial or federal authorities due to COVID-19, all refund requests should be made by email to email@example.com with your confirmation number and clear request of refund. We do not guarantee snow conditions, weather conditions, open terrain or number of lifts operating.
Q: I am not sure when I want to ski. Do I have to buy a ticket for a specific day?
A: The choice is yours. Purchase our brand new 3-day or 5-day POWder Card and use it any day of the season or purchase an online lift ticket for a specific date.
Q: Can I reload my POWder Card?
A: Yes. Reload online with additional POWder cards or regular, date sensitive, lift tickets.
Q: I did not use all the days on my POWder Card. Can I transfer them to next season?
A: POWder Cards are only valid for the season in which they were purchased. Unused days cannot be credited, refunded or transferred.
