Beginner Skills Area
Located in the Village Centre next to the Plaza Chair unload station. The skills area offers a fun and stress-free environment for entry level mountain bikers to gain confidence before heading to the chairlift and entering the downhill trail network.
The Beginner Skills Area contains an introductory loop where you can learn to ride over rollers, practice braking on a gentle slope and control your bike around bermed corners.
The Beginner Skills Park consists of three zones:
Light Green Zone: An introduction into mountain biking with three small features
Green Zone: Introduces the decision-making process while riding, with three features closer together
Dark Green Zone: Introduces the concept of riding up and over features while keeping your tires on the ground.
