Park Chics
Park Chics is a women-led program designed exclusively for all female identifying skiers and snowboarders who want to explore, progress, and thrive in the terrain park. With small group sizes of no more than 6 participants per coach, you’ll receive personalized guidance to help you build skills and boost confidence, all in a fun, safe, supportive and social environment.
Whether you have always wanted to try riding/skiing in the terrain park or are looking to refine your skills and technique, Park Chics is the program for you. No matter where you’re starting from, you’re invited to join the ride!

Ability Levels & Requirements:
- Intermediate skier or boarder comfortably linking turns on groomed blue runs
- Intermediate (Park Level 1): I can ski/ride to the park chair easily, but have never been in the park before and am ready to learn the basics
- Intermediate (Park Level 2): I am hitting small & medium features and looking to add some new tricks
- Advanced (Park Level 3): I am comfortable with small & medium features and looking to develop my skills on large boxes, rails and jumps
Inclusions:
- 2 Hour Coaching Session in the Terrain Park
- Led by our professional female park coaches, who are stoked to spend their evening in the park with you!
Details:
- Group runs with minimum of 3 participants
- Small group sizes up to a maximum of 6 participants per group
- Price is per person, per session
- Helmets are mandatory for anyone 19 and under participating in a lesson and recommended for all adults
Ski Ability Levels All Ages
Level 1
You have never skied before, or you are learning to stop using a snowplow. Your lesson takes place in the beginner area at Happy Valley.
Level 2
You have skied before and can stop comfortably. You are now learning the fundamentals of controlling direction. Your lesson takes place in the beginner area at Happy Valley.
Level 3
You are comfortable making snowplow turns on the magic carpet and are ready to navigate busier terrain using our novice lift, Plaza Chair. Your lesson takes place on Plaza Chair.
Level 4
You can comfortably follow your instructor’s line and speed on Plaza Chair and are ready to explore green and blue terrain higher on the mountain using a snowplow. You are learning to ski confidently in a parallel stance on green and blue runs.
Level 5
You can ski parallel, in control, on groomed blue runs and are ready to increase your speed in ungroomed terrain. You are learning to adapt to changing snow conditions and terrain as you progress.
Level 6
You can confidently ski ungroomed advanced runs at speed while maintaining a parallel stance. You are learning tactics to confidently approach challenging conditions and terrain throughout the mountain.
Snowboard Ability Levels All Ages
Level 1
You have never snowboarded before, or you are learning to stop and control your speed. Your lesson takes place in the beginner area at Happy Valley.
Level 2
You have snowboarded before and can stop comfortably. You are learning the fundamentals of controlling direction. Your lesson takes place in the beginner area at Happy Valley.
Level 3
You are comfortable making linked turns on the magic carpet and are ready to navigate busier terrain using our novice lift, Plaza Chair. Your lesson takes place on Plaza Chair.
Level 4
You can comfortably follow your instructor’s line and speed on Plaza Chair and are ready to explore green and blue terrain higher on the mountain. You are looking to build confidence and control on novice and intermediate runs across the mountain.
Level 5
You can link turns with control on groomed blue runs and are ready to increase your speed in ungroomed terrain. You are learning to adapt to changing snow conditions and terrain as you progress.
Level 6
You can confidently ride ungroomed advanced runs at speed while maintaining control. You are learning tactics to confidently approach challenging terrain and conditions throughout the mountain.
