L'Alpe de Grand Blanc 2019: Results

27-year-old cyclist and Kelowna local, Jordan Cheyne, has won the L’Alpe de Grand Blanc road bike race with a time of one hour, 48 minutes and 15 seconds.

A total of 168 riders took part in the 60km race, which started at 9am on Sunday morning from the East Kelowna Community Hall and wound its way up Big White Road to finish at the Big White Ski Resort Village.

53-year-old Marg Fedyna was the first female to cross the finish line, with a time of two hours, 9 minutes and 51 seconds. In the spirit of Tour de France tradition, Jordan and Marg won Polka Dot Jerseys, plaques and cash prizes.
