Rob Walker, one of Canada’s most accomplished chefs, has joined Big White Ski Resort as Executive Chef. Born and raised in British Columbia, and with over 15 years of culinary experience, Rob is an award-winning chef that is well experienced in utilizing the plentiful products of the region to produce incredible food.

What are you planning on doing for Earth Hour this year? At Big White, we’re hoping people will participate and we’re encouraging everyone to switch off the lights from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.

International students from the University of British Columbia came up to Big White Ski Resort to try skiing and snowboarding for the very first time. For some it was their first time ever seeing and touching snow. The day was filled with laughter, success, friendship and great memories that they'll take away from this experience.

Big White Ski Resort has scheduled their second annual TELUS Kelowna Cup for Saturday, March 5, with all proceeds from the event going to support the KGH Perinatal Unit’s 'Giving Giggles' campaign.
