Painting the Black Forest and Growing Veggies!

This year the Black Forest is getting a fresh coat of paint. The millwrights are busily painting the towers this week, then onto the stations.

The kids at the summer camp are trying their hands at growing a few hardy veggies! Carrots, lettuce & beets are on the menu. The Blarney Stone has agreed to prepare a meal for the kids using their veggies.

This will be the final weekend of The Globe in it's current location. The Globe will be moving into the Whitefoot Lodge for the 2014-2015 season. On Sunday they are having a 'drink the bar dry'. Monday is moving day, there won't be any food or beverage options open. On Tuesday the Blarney Stone is opening for the summer! Come and enjoy a cold beverage on the sunny deck.
