Families Flock to Big White Ski Resort for BC Family Day!
Local and visiting families alike took in the day’s events as Big White Ski Resort provided the perfect backdrop for this year’s BC Family Day. What better place to spend Family Day than at Canada’s favorite family resort!
Hundreds of families flocked to Big White’s Village Centre to take part in the outdoor carnival from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Kids were able to get their faces painted by the talented daycare staff, burned off their energy in the outdoor bouncy castle and refueled with some tasty treats like hot chocolate, cotton candy and popcorn!
Big White Ski Resort offered 50% off lift tickets to all BC Residents for Family Day and the response from the public was incredibly positive. “It was a great time, everyone was really happy to be here today! We saw so many rosy cheeks and smiles.” Commented Steve Thompson of Big White Ski Resort, who emceed today’s event.
With just over 3 cm of fresh Okanagan Champagne Powder that fell throughout the day there was fun to be had both on and off the slopes. To keep you and your family busy well into the evening Big White Ski Resort is offering night skiing from 3:30pm-8:00pm this evening as well as extended Tube Park hours from 2:00pm-9:00pm.
