In the lineup for summer, Big White Bike School will be putting on two Women's Camps designed and tailored for Women riders only.

Women's Intro to DH Camp

Covering all of the fundamentals focusing on fun, safety and skills.


Women's Progression DH Camp

Building on the Into to DH Camp, focusing on fun, safety and skill progression.

 


 

Women's Intro to Downhill Camp (Beginner)

Session#1: Friday, July 13 & Saturday, July 14, 2018
Session#2: Saturday, August 18 & Sunday, August 19, 2018

 

If you're new to downhill biking, or unsure of where to begin, this is the program for you.

The Women's Intro to Downhill camp is tailored for beginner riders and those new to the bike park, bringing together fellow female riders with perfect balance of learning and socializing. You'll be placed in a group with riders of similar experience so that you can enjoy a pressure-free environment to progress at your own pace, among fun and supportive peers.

Get comfortable on your bike, learn the fundamentals and gain the confidence to navigate the Bike Park.

 

Women's Progression Downhill Camp (Novice to Intermediate)

Session#1: Friday, July 13 & Saturday, July 14, 2018
Session#2: Saturday, August 18 & Sunday, August 19, 2018

 

Building on the Women's Intro to Downhill camp, this camp focuses on skill progression.

The Progression Downhill camp is tailored for beginner riders looking to advance their skills in the bike park, bringing together fellow female riders with perfect balance of direction and socializing. You'll be placed in a group with riders of similar experience so that you can enjoy a pressure-free environment to progress at your own pace, among fun and supportive peers.

Get comfortable on your bike again, improve and take in new skills of downhill. Have fun riding the bike park!

Schedule/Itinerary

9:30am - Meet & Greet Orientation
Get to know your fellow female riders before you hit the trails.
Bike and equipment check.
Bike Park basics and trail etiquette prep.
 
10:00am - FUNdamentals & Riding in the Bike Park
Learn the basic body position and braking skills necessarily to get down the hill safely.
Head over to the lifts, learn how to load your bike and head up to the trails.
Experience the trails with your coach with instruction as you make your way down the mountain.
 
11:45am - Lunch
Light and nutritious lunch at the Woods patio to re-fuel and review morning session.
 
12:45pm - Riding in the Bike Park
Continue to gain confidence on the trails and progress in basic riding skills and ability.
 
2:45pm - Post Ride Apres
Beverage and snack at the Woods patio to wrap up your riding experience.. and grab the numbers of all your new riding friends!
