Fair and dry conditions are expected over much of the day today, then becoming to mostly cloudy with scattered flurries developing by late this afternoon or the evening, and returning to fair conditions over the day tomorrow, followed with periods of light snow developing by late tomorrow afternoon or early evening. S to W ridge winds near 25-35 km/h gusting up to 40-50 km/h are also expected late today, tonight, and over much of tomorrow. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1400-1800 m are expected through much of today, tonight and tomorrow.

Synopsis

Fair and dry conditions are expected to continue over much of the day today, then a series of weak disturbances moving to the east through the region is expected to bring some scattered flurries this evening or tonight, and resuming to fair weather over much of the day tomorrow, then followed with periods of light snow developing by late tomorrow afternoon or early evening. Ridge winds are expected to remain moderate, near 25-35 km/h gusting up to 40-50 km/h from the S to W late today, tonight and tomorrow. Meanwhile, freezing levels up to 1400-1800 m are also expected over much of today, tonight and tomorrow.

3 to 5 Day Outlook

A ridge of high pressure building up over the area is expected to bring mainly clear and dry conditions Tuesday through Thursday, with mostly light ridge winds as well. Meanwhile, freezing levels are expected to rise greatly, up to 1800-2600 m through much of the outlook period.
