Canadian recession will end this quarter, Bank of Canada says

The recession in Canada will end this quarter, the Bank of Canada has said.
The Bank of Canada estimates the economy will advance by 1.3 per cent in the July-September period and by 3 per cent in the fourth quarter, at annualized rates.
That forecast would put Canada ahead of many other countries that are coming out of what economists have termed the worst global recession since the Second World War.
The bank is also predicting our country's rebound will more than double that of the United States. It says Canadian consumers are more confident of future conditions than their American counterparts and better positioned to return to spending.
