Big White is British Columbia's second largest ski resort. It's about an hour from Kelowna with 118 runs and over 17,000 beds. And it just keeps getting bigger. There are visions of doubling its size over the next thirty years.

"So the government has asked us if (we) might need more water, you should apply now. And that's what we've done," says Michael Ballingall.

The resort is applying to add to its reservoir capacity and license the diversion of hundreds of millions of gallons of additional water for future development...
