The Big White team has been full steam ahead this week preparing for our Orchard Park Sale! The Loose Moose and Boomer are preparing for a busy weekend at the Paws for a Cause, Dragon Boat Festival and the annual Sports Show and Swap held at the Kelowna Curling Club – You may even see them at the Orchard Park Mall!

The construction crews have been working overtime this week. Make sure you check out the Photo's of the day to see for yourself! The crew at The Edge has almost doubled – On Wednesday there were 75 workers on site! Work will begin on the next four units with a goal of closing them in before the snow comes. The Phase 1 buildings are almost ready to go with kitchen cabinets and granite countertops being installed. Roofing has been completed on the second duplex and stucco work will begin next week. Services are coming along, with gas instillation complete, sidewalks and stairs underway and water samples currently being tested before connection. The Geothermal drilling has been completed for the season and backfilling over the site continues.

The Chateau Blanc projects continues where two slab on grades have poured and another suspended slap on the east side of the P2 level of the parking lot. Miscellaneous walls and columns have also been poured. The crane at Chateau Blanc still towers over the site and can be seen from the live webcam . It has a reach of over 270 feet and will grow in height with the building.

Over at Stongate things are looking great with work commencing on the exterior stone walls. Stamped and coloured concrete has been sealed up along the entrance way and deck railings have been installed and prepared for painting.

Outdoor operations continues their summer grooming and maintenance program with slashing work over at the Gem Lake and have almost competed Serwas. Painting continues on the Administration building and is completed on the Black Forest Chair. Summer maintenance work continues on the Powder and Bullet Chairs as well as Lara’s Gondola.
