This week's storms brought an exciting surprise for all those who can't wait for the upcoming season - Snow! That's right - It has now officially snowed every month this year! What a promising start for the 2008/09 Season! Sharing that excitement with the constructions teams, however, seems a little more difficult.

The Chateau Blanc reported a slow week, however the first suspended slab has now been poured and work has began on the second slab. The crane at Chateau Blanc still towers over the site and can be seen from the live webcam live webcam . It has a reach of over 270 feet and will grow in height with the building.

Over at the Edge, the crew has been busy digging in gas lines - these are now well on their way to completion. The foundation walls for the second building have been poured in the second building in the third phase and they plan to backfill and drill the geothermal wells next week. Phase two is also coming along with the framing almost complete on the first building, and completed to the loft level on the second building. We should start to see some roof structures in the next few weeks. The phase one buildings are receiving their final touches including painting, ceramic tile and kitchen cabinets. Site work cleaning has also begun to prepare for curbs and gutters in the upcoming weeks.

Work continues at Stonegate where they are ahead of schedule as they continue framing the fourth floor, and expect to see roofing structures begin over the next week! The lifestyle and amenity areas are almost complete and the pools have been filled for the first time!

Outdoor operations has been busy continuing their summer grooming program on the Westridge. The Cliff chairs have been put back on, and summer maintenance continues on the cliff chair, black forest chair and our grooming machines. The crew has also been working to ensure the village is in top condition for the car show coming up this weekend.

The events team have had a busy week out at the Sindi Hawkins Charity Golf tournament, Kids Rock Concert at the Cove, their regular Wednesday night car show at Mc Curdy corner and of course preparing for this weekend Mountain of Memories 2nd Annual Car Show - Hope to see you up here!
