Getting to Big White Ski Resort has just gotten easier!
Effective December 16, 2007, Air Canada is introducing daily NON-STOP service between Sydney and Vancouver using its NEW 777 aircraft. Air Canada thus becomes the only airline offering a non-stop service between Australia and Canada.
Air Canada has timed its new Sydney-Vancouver non-stop service to offer you a great time saving connection into Kelowna International Airport and get you to the slopes by mid-morning.
Routing schedules for the flight into Kelowna are as follows:
- Depart Sydney - 11:35am - Flight # AC034
- Arrive Vancouver - 6:40am
- Depart Vancouver - 8:10am - Flight # AC8410
- Arrive Kelowna - 9:04am
Air Canada's new non-stop routing will shave more than 3 hours off the current one-stop routing via Honolulu, and will also avoid the necessary U.S. Customs and Security procedures by flying direct to Canada.
Air Canada's new 777-3000ER aircraft is configured to provide a choice of 42 Executive first suites and 307 seats in Economy. The Executive first cabin features lie-flat beds and all customers will enjoy digital quality personal seatback entertainment systems with 80 hours of video and 50 hours of audio on demand, as well as standard 110 vold electrical outlets at arms reach.
