Big White Ski Resort has been announced as the official location of the 2018 Molson Canadian Olympic Team Send-Off. This public event will give fans a chance to wish Canadian athletes well on their journey to the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018.

With Canadian artists performing on the main stage, sports activations and Molson Canadian flowing - we’ve made sure there’s no shortage of excitement as we send-off Team Canada athletes on January 6th. At this event, guests will be treated to an Olympic-style athlete introduction & parade, the opportunity to engage with athletes, an electrifying musical performance by Canadian headliner JULY TALK, and a technicolour laser and firework show.

Get out and get active with free skate rentals at our outdoor ice-skating rink all day long thanks to Sport Chek.
 
12:00pm - 5:00pm Tourism Kelowna Tubing Party
It’s 50% off tubing at the Big White Tube Park this Saturday thanks to Tourism Kelowna. PLUS, the first 200 people at the Big White Tube Park at noon get free s’mores and hot chocolate.
 
12:00pm Toyota BBQ
Starting at noon, Toyota will be serving up hot dogs by donation in the Village Centre. We can already hear those sausages sizzling now!
 
12:00pm Official Opening
Be ready and roaring for an exciting day mingling with our Olympic athletes. Today is all about showing your Canadian spirit and cheering on our athletes!
 
12:00pm - 8:00pm Molson Canadian Beer Garden at The Woods
Come decked out in your best Canadian gear. Molson Canadian will be flowing all day long at The Woods outdoor beer garden.
 
1:30pm - 2:30pm Screening of Moguls World Cup
Sit tight and be treated to a screening of the Moguls World Cup in the Village.
 
2:45pm - 3:15pm Jon Bos Band
Enjoy some tunes from local talent the Jon Bos Band to kick off an exciting afternoon!
 
3:30pm - 3:45pm Opening Ceremonies
It's time to welcome the loyal fans and guests who have journeyed to Big White Ski Resort for an afternoon of festivities!
 
3:35pm - 3:45pm Athlete Introduction & Parade
Have your signs ready to wave in support of our official 2018 Canadian Winter Olympians! Get into prime position and see our homegrown heroes walk by in the parade through the Village Centre.
 
3:45pm - 4:00pm Molson Canadian Victory Toast
Hosts welcome our Olympic Athletes to the stage to recognize their hard work in training and congratulations on their successes.
 
4:00pm - 5:00pm Athlete Meet and Greet
For an entire hour, athletes will be hosting a meet and greet to allow all fans to give well wishes to their heroes. Bring your posters and Olympic Big White toques for a once in a lifetime autograph opportunity.
 
5:30pm - 6:30pm JULY TALK Main Stage Performance
It's time to rock out! JULY TALK, famed Canadian alternative-rock band known for their explosive style,  will be putting on a show right here in the Village Centre...get ready to dance the night away!
 
6:35pm - 7:05pm Fireworks & Laser Show
It wouldn't be a celebration in Big White without our famous fireworks and laser show! Round up the entire family and watch us light up the night sky with an explosion of colourful lasers and fireworks.
 
7:05pm - 8:00pm After Party
The party isn't over yet! The Molson Canadian Beer Garden will remain open to keep the festivities alive. Enjoy music and entertainment with friends and family to close the night!
