Halfmoon Hostel at Big White is the place all your snow dreams come true! This is a sociable friendly lodge right up a big Canadian mountain. It’s totally ski-in, ski-out. That bit means you can walk to the back door, strap on your board and go down a run. And then ski right back to the door at lunchtime. Now that’s good. We like that bit. You don’t get that at Whistler.
It’s newly renovated — clean and bright with great common areas and a kitchen that’s plenty big enough for all your supplies and cooking escapades. It’s got a beautiful hot tub and Internet and laundry facilities. We don’t expect you will want to return to reality, but we know that people sometimes need to, so Halfmoon Hostel operate a twice-daily shuttle service between the Kelowna and Big White Lodges.
The hostel is a 2-minute walk to the village where you can shop, start your ski/snowboard lesson, then eat, drink and live it up at night.
The hostel offers ideal accommodation if you are looking to work a ski season at a mountain with awesome snow, terrain, nightlife, views, tree-runs... you get the idea. We can hook you up with a dorm-shared accommodation and you can work and live with your mates!
Halfmoon Hostel operates during the ski season (November through April) and features:
