Q: Why will the system not allow me to purchase online?
A: You need to assign a product to each family member and then the waiver should come up ready to be completed. If this doesn't happen please log-out and start again.
Q: How many times must I ski in order to get my money's worth?
A: 8 times if you are a family, 9 times if you are a single person.
Q: I have purchased my pass online, where can I pick up my pass?
A: If we have a photo on file we will mail your pass - if not you can pick it up in our Kelowna office or at the mountain when the season starts.
Q: How can I purchase the early bird lessons?
A: You can purchase the early bird lessons over the phone, in person at the Ambrosi office or at the Big White display at Orchard Park Mall September 21 - 26.

A: Studen passes can be purchase over the phone, in person at the Ambrosi Office or at the Big White display at Orchard Park Mall September 21 - 26.
Q: What do I need to show in order to purchase a student pass?
A: You will need to show proof of your tuition fee along with your class schedule for fall / winter semester.
Q: Do I need to sign a waiver this year?
A: Not if you signed one last year.
Q: What are your office hours?
A: 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm Saturdays (September only)
Q: How can I sign up for the payment plan and for how many months?
A: You can sign up for the payment plan over the phone, in person at the Ambrosi office or at the Big White display at Orchard Park Mall September 21 - 26. We will need a payment at the time of purchase and a postdated credit card or cheques for October and November 15.
Q: How do you define a family?
A: A family is; Parents and or children between the ages of 6 and 18 living at the same residence.

- Choose the Bus Pass option with your Season Pass and let us give you a lift to the mountain! The Big White Express Bus operates every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the season, plus Christmas, Spring Break (to be determined) and any other days when the schools are closed.
- Choose the Seasonal Locker option with your Season Pass and have exclusive use of a full-size locker large enough for an entire family for only $100 + HST at the Black Forest and $150 + HST at Happy Valley Day Lodge. We have a limited quantity and former renters have first consideration.

Payment Plan
Spread the cost of your Season Pass across three payments. Starting today you can pay the first installment and supply us with post-dated cheques or credit card details for the 15th of October and the 15th of November. Our goal is to make this the easiest pass you've ever bought. Final payments and cheques must clear prior to pass pick-up on November 15, 2010.
*A $25 financing fee will be applied for individual pass holders, or $75 for a family. All late payments and returned cheques will have a non-negotiable $45 NSF charge applied.
Refundable Pass Options
The refundable pass option provides you the assurance of a partial refund as outlined
below.
- Without purchasing the refundable pass option, passes are non-refundable under
any circumstances.
- The price of the refundable option is $25 for individual pass holders or $75 for
a family. The refund option fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- The refundable pass option is only available when purchased concurrently with
your seasons pass.
- Big White/Silver Star will refund the cost of the seasons pass if you suffer an
injury or sickness which prevents your participation in skiing or snowboarding.
- Big White/Silver Star will refund the cost of the Seasons Pass if your employer
transfers you, making it necessary to move your residence outside a 200km/125mi radius form the
resort, provided that the date of transfer is at least 45 days after the purchase of the seasons pass.
(Okanagan residents only)
- If your parent, spouse, or child is also a refundable pass holder and chooses to
cease participation due to injury or sickness, he or she is entitled to a refund. The refund is
limited to one additional claimant.
- The refund option does not cover: non-participation caused by or contributed to
by intentional self-injury; non-participation due to emotional disorders or pre-existing conditions
unless you are hospitalized; non-participation due to normal pregnancy; or any injury or sickness that
does not prevent the participation of skiing.
- If you need to request a refund, we must receive your written request within 15
days of non-participation. We will not accept refund requests after April 1st.
- When presenting your claim, please provide a covering letter of explanation,
your seasons pass, and a medical certificate providing the date of the first medical treatment and
prognosis, stating that you are unable to ski, and the length of time the illness or injury will
prevent participation. In the event of job relocation, include a letter from your employer within 15
days of notification, stating the location, date and length of relocation.

discretion and approval.

Buying Online
Below are some helpful hints for buying online:
- If you are an existed pass holder from last year, there are no waivers required and as long as your photo is up to date we will process your pass and mail it to you.
- When entering your credit card number, ensure there are no spaces between the numbers. Follow the example shown on the website.
- Here's another one, if you're like me, you may not make many large purchases online. Your credit card company may block the purchase for security reasons. If your purchase is denied call the customer care phone number on your credit card to have the access opened. Once you've successfully completed your online purchase, you will receive a confirmation by email almost immediately.
- For those of you wishing to use the payment plan, we can do it over the phone if you have a credit card. If you are using cheques please visit us at the Orchard Park Mall in Kelowna or the Village Green Mall in Vernon. We are not able to process the payment plan online.
- For full time students over the age of 18 proof of purchase for full Fall and Winter course schedules must be presented at time of purchase. It's best to make your purchase in person.
Terms & Conditions
- Season passes remain the property of Big
White Ski Resort Ltd. and Silver Star Mountain Resort Ltd. and may be revoked
for misuse or violation of the Alpine Responsibility Code. Use of this pass
by anyone other than the registered pass holder, or alterations to the season
pass will result in cancellation of that pass.
- Season passes are non-refundable and
non-transferable. We may request identification to verify its validity.
- The Refundable Pass Option is only
available when purchased concurrently with your season pass.
- Full-Time students over 18 years must be enrolled in three or more
classes for the fall and winter semesters at a school within Canada or the US at the time of purchase.
We require receipt of tuition fees and course schedule (dates & times) to validate full-time status.
Apprenticeship, Correspondence and Distance Education courses do not qualify as students are not
physically in class.
- Students are excluded from the family count and must apply
individually. Students cannot apply online.
- We require new pass holders to show proof
of age and address when picking up their passes, even if part of an existing
family.
- All age category cut-off dates are as of
the date of purchase. Those turning 65 after the date of purchase but before
December 31 can purchase a Senior Pass.
- Mail-in applications must provide all
payments either in full or postdated for the payment plan dates. Applications
must be postmarked prior to discount deadline dates.
- Personal information you provide on this form is collected for the
purpose of processing your season's pass application, delivering information and materials related to
your season's pass purchase and for other promotional purposes, and for contact purposes in case of
emergency. This information is collected for our internal use and will not be disclosed except as may
be permitted or required by law. You may learn more about our organization's Personal Information

contacting our Personal Information Administrator at (250)765-310.
- Lost your pass? No Problem. We can replace it for a $25 printing fee.
Forgot your pass? you will be issued a day ticket and have that pass "hot listed" for the day. One
forgotten lift ticket per pass holder, per season will be issued.
