New Easier Season Pass Payment Plan!

You can now spread the cost of your season pass across three, four, five, and even six months! Starting today, you can pay the first installment and supply us with post-dated cheques or credit card details for either the 1st or 15th of each month for the remaining installments. Our goal is to make this the easiest pass you’ve ever bought. Final payments and cheques must clear prior to picking up your pass or December 1st, 2009.

*A $25 financing fee will be applied for individual pass holders, or $75 for a family. All returned cheques will have a non-negotiable $45 NSF charge.

Download the season pass application form (right click on the link and "save target as"), fill it out and fax it to 250-491-6158. You will have to sign the waiver in person so you can pick up the pass.

• Families of 5 or more pay for the oldest 4 family member passes, and the remaining passes are free*.
• A family consists of parents and/or children 18 and under living at home. Young adults and students 19 and over must apply individually.
• Family members who qualify as students are excluded from the family count and must apply individually.
• These prices do not include GST (5%).

Terms & Conditions

• Season passes remain the property of Big White Ski Resort Ltd. and Silver Star Mountain Resort Ltd. and may be revoked for misuse or violation of the ‘Alpine Responsibility Code’. Use of this pass by anyone other than the registered passholder, or alterations to the season pass will result in cancellation of that pass.
• Season passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. We may request identification to verify its validity.
• The ‘Refundable Pass Option’ is only available when purchased concurrently with your season pass.
• Full-Time students over 18 years must be enrolled in three or more classes at a school within Canada or the US at the time of purchase. We require proof (receipt) of registration. Students are excluded from the family count and must apply individually. Students cannot apply online.
• We require new pass holders to show proof of age and address when picking up their passes, even if part of an existing family.
• All age category cut-off dates are as of the date of purchase. Those turning 65 after the date of purchase but before December 31st. can purchase a Senior Pass.
• Mail-in applications must provide all payments either in full or post dated for the payment plan dates. Applications must be postmarked prior to discount deadline dates.
• Personal information you provide on this form is collected for the purpose of processing your season's pass application, delivering information and materials related to your season's pass purchase and for other promotional purposes, and for contact purposes in case of emergency. This information is collected for our internal use and will not be disclosed except as may be permitted or required by law. • FREE night skiing. Ski all evening on the Bullet Express, Plaza Quad and TELUS Park Chairs. Your Big White Season Pass gets you on the lifts for FREE.
• Discounted shopping. Show your season pass when you visit any of our resort-owned retail shops and save 10% on all regular priced skis, boards, bindings, boots, and poles and 15% on the best snowsport wear on the mountain. These discounts apply to all regular priced items. Service, selection and price — three compelling reasons to do your winter shopping at Big White and Silver Star Resorts.
• Discounts on rentals and repairs. You can save 15% when you rent equipment at Big White’s rental shop or Ski Dazzle Retail Rental at Silver Star. Your maintenance and repairs at the Repair Shops are also discounted by 15% when you present your season pass.
• Ski & Board School discounts. Why not take a lesson early in the season to brush up on your technique? Save 15% on group and private lessons all season long.
• Contact Big White Central Reservations for the latest accommodation specials for pass holders. Subject to availability. Some restrictions apply.
• Discounted lift tickets at other resorts.
• Choose the Bus Pass option with your Season Pass and let us give you a lift to the mountain! The Big White Express Bus operates every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the season, plus Christmas, Spring Break (to be determined) and any other days when the schools are closed.
• Choose the Seasonal Locker option with your Season Pass and have exclusive use of a full-size locker large enough for an entire family for only $150 + GST. Lockers are located in the Ridge & Happy Valley Lodges. We have a limited quantity and former renters have first consideration.

Refundable Pass Options

The refundable pass option provides you the assurance of a partial refund as outlined below.

• Without purchasing the refundable pass option, passes are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• The price of the refundable option is $25 for individual pass holders or $75 for a family. The refund option fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
• The refundable pass option is only available when purchased concurrently with your seasons pass.
• Big White/Silver Star will refund the cost of the seasons pass if you suffer an injury or sickness which prevents your participation in skiing or snowboarding.
• Big White/Silver Star will refund the cost of the Seasons Pass if your employer transfers you, making it necessary to move your residence outside a 200km/125mi radius form the resort, provided that the date of transfer is at least 45 days after the purchase of the seasons pass. (Okanagan residents only)
• If your parent, spouse, or child is also a refundable pass holder and chooses to cease participation due to injury or sickness, he or she is entitled to a refund. The refund is limited to one additional claimant.
• The refund option does not cover: non-participation caused by or contributed to by intentional self-injury; non-participation due to emotional disorders or pre-existing conditions unless you are hospitalized; non-participation due to normal pregnancy; or any injury or sickness that does not prevent the participation of skiing.
• If you need to request a refund, we must receive your written request within 15 days of non-participation. We will not accept refund requests after April 1st.
• When presenting your claim, please provide a covering letter of explanation, your seasons pass, and a medical certificate providing the date of the first medical treatment and prognosis, stating that you are unable to ski, and the length of time the illness or injury will prevent participation. In the event of job relocation, include a letter from your employer within 15 days of notification, stating the location, date and length of relocation.
• All refunds subject to Big White Resort Ltd. and/or Silver Star Ski Resort Ltd.’s discretion and approval.
