Big White wins Best Ski Hill in Best of Kelowna 2015 Awards

“It’s always nice to be recognized by members of the community for the hard work your team and on-mountain partners put in to ensure our visitors have a world class ski and snowboard experience,”  stated senior vice-president Michael Ballingall, “Big White has always thought local and acted global. It gives us great pleasure to hear from our customers how much they enjoy spending time with locals on the mountain. Thank you and we certainly will be held to the high standards of winning these awards.”

Amongst other categories Big White Ski Resort was recognized in included a silver award for “Best Staycation Spot outside of Kelowna but within 250km” and a bronze award for “Best Tourist Attraction”. Big White Ski Resort also had some categories all to itself including “Best Places to Stay at Big White” and “Best Places to Eat at Big White”.

Best of Kelowna is an annual promotion that provides the local community with the opportunity to nominate, vote, and promote their favorite Okanagan places and people. This year’s Kelowna Now “Best of Kelowna” was the biggest yet with over 120 categories and thousands of votes cast.
