The 30th World Armwrestling Championship
As a sponsor, Big White is pleased to welcome over 1,500 visitors and International Competitors to Kelowna for December 3 – 6 at the Grand Hotel to compete for World Titles.
Between 35 – 45 countries will be represented at the 2008 World Arm Wrestling Championships at the Grand Okanagan Hotel. This is the largest International Sporting event ever to be hosted in this city and the largest Arm Wrestling Championship for North America.
Tickets are available for purchase at our Corporate head office at 1894 Ambrosi rd. A portion of the ticket price will be donated to the Kelowna Food Bank.

Okanagan Zone GS Races K1,K2, FIS and MastersCome on out and watch our future, present and a little bit of our past as Big White and the Big White Racers host an Okangan Zone Giant Slalom race on Paradise. 2008-2009 Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance Level 1 Instructor CoursesJoin the Canadian Ski Instructor’s Alliance. If you are a strong parallel skier, become a pro or learn to ski and teach like one! A great way to earn some extra money. Participants are introduced to the CSIA’s innovative, effective skiing techniques and teaching methods over a 4 day period. Offered seven times this season! BC Snowboard Association Provincial Championships: Super Pipe, Slopestyle and BoardercrossIt all comes down to this three day weekend blow out as riders go all out to secure a spot on the national team! This important event determines who will represent BC at the Canadian national championships. TELUS Park will be jacked up and groomed to perfection as these riders come to town to do battle. Contestants under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign event waivers in person. Helmets are mandatory for all competitions in TELUS Park.

12th Annual Neil Edgeworth Memorial Banked SlalomBig White is proud to host & celebrate the 12th year of the Neil Edgeworth Banked Slalom Event. Last year, we hosted a record number of riders so make sure that you call or e-mail early to get a spot in this year's event. Annual Dummy DownhillTo celebrate the last weekend of another fantastic season, Big White is hosting its annual Dummy Downhill. Have your team build the ultimate downhill dummy machine, fasten your crash test dummy, set loose and see what happens! Requirements: Dummies must be affixed to two skis or a snowboard, have two arms, two legs, and at least one head! Contact the Activities Desk for more information.
