Here you can find the Daily family activities that are going on at the resort as well as see the videos and just how much fun we have here at Big White with you and your kids!

4:00pm to 6:00pm - Family Après Ski at Happy Valley

Spend some time with your family after a day on the slopes in the relaxing atmosphere of the Moose Lounge in the Happy Valley Day Lodge for our Après Ski. Free popcorn and coloring books, bottomless pop, mocktails, specials and prizes are all on offer for this fun family evening. Explore our wide selection of spirits, beers and wines from around the world and the Okanagan Valley. Live music and the stunning views of the Monashee Mountains await!

5:00pm to 6:30pm - Bonfire and Hot Chocolate

No good ski holiday would be complete without a hot chocolate by a roaring campfire. So after another great day on the slopes warm up with delicious, free Hot Chocolate and a toasty bonfire down at the skating rink in Happy Valley. Keep your eyes open as you never know who may be popping by to warm up by the fire, our Big White Mascots are known for their love of great hot chocolate!

5:00pm to 8:00pm - Kids Center Dinner and Mega Snowcoaster

Let our fantastic Kids Center staff supervise your kids for dinner and a fun evening at the Mega Snowcoaster tube park! Register before 3:00pm at the Kids Center to take part in this event. Have some dinner before heading down to the Mega Snowcoaster for only $25.

6:30pm to 8:00pm - Carnival Night

Our Village Center Mall is the place for our famous carnival night! The games are all out for the kids along with the popcorn and cotton candy. This will be your kids favorite night on the hill as they participate with all the other children to win some fantastic prizes! This event is hosted by the pros from the Ski and Board School so feel free to just come by to get some friendly pointers. The Loose Moose and Boomer the Kangaroo will come out for the big finale with a Big White mascot race!

8:00pm - Fireworks

Enjoy our world famous fireworks show from the comforts of your own chalet, soaking in the hot tub, or head down to Happy Valley for the best view!

8:30am to 9:00am - Inter–Denominational Church Service

Join Pastor Jack at Schumann House in the Village Centre.

3:30pm to 4:30pm - Catholic Church Mass

Join Father Wayne at Schumann House in the Village Centre.

4:00pm to 6:00pm - Family Après Ski at Happy Valley

9:30am to 11:30am - 50 Plus

Every Monday morning join other skiers and snowboarders of a similar ability level that are also young at heart. This is a 2 hour group session followed by a gourmet lunch prepared by our Executive Chef. This program is for both men and women over the age of 50 and is taught by our most experienced pros. Make the most of every Monday and join us!

4:00pm to 5:00pm - Free Craft Night

Come to the Kids Center for a fun evening of free arts and crafts with our amazing Kids Center Staff. Register at the Kids Center before 3:00pm.

4:00pm to 6:00pm - Magical Mondays Family Après Ski at Happy Valley

This one is for the kids! Join our family entertainment of clowns, magicians and singers for some fun in the Happy Valley day lodge.

7:00pm to 9:00pm - Wii Night

This great event lets you get up and be interactive with our Nintendo Wii systems on the big screen upstairs in the Happy Valley Day Lodge. The whole family can either sit back, cheer or participate. Challenge family and friends with the opportunity to win some great prizes. We're getting some brand new games this year, stay tuned!

8:00am to 4:00pm - Big White/Silver Star Direct Inter-Mountain Day Trip

Looking to experience the thrill of two world-class resorts without the hassle? Hop aboard the Big White/Silver Star Direct Inter-Mountain Day Trip Shuttle that will take you direct between our resorts every Tuesday and Thursday. Shuttles depart the Village Center Mall at Big White at 8:00am and leave Silver Star at 4:00pm, arriving back to Big White at approximately 6:30pm. For more details and to make your reservation, please call the activities desk at 250.491.6111 or email at activities@bigwhite.com. Please note that reservations are required as space is limited on each shuttle.

4:00pm to 6:00pm - Family Après Ski at Happy Valley

6:00pm to 8:00pm - Skating Party at Happy Valley Skating Rink

Register at the Kids Center before 3pm and enjoy a skating party at Happy Valley. Our Kids Center staff will provide supervision and skate rental for $15.

6:30pm to 8:00pm - Free Bingo Night

Our free Bingo night is a great way to spend an evening with the family! Come down to the Happy Valley Day Lodge for your chance to win some great prizes like free tubing passes for the kids, group lessons from our Ski and Board School and lots more. This fun event is for everyone so get your voice ready to yell BINGO!

10:00am to 12:00pm - Ladies Day

With no men around, this is the day for ladies to improve their skills on the mountain. In the morning, join other ladies of similar ability for a 2 hour group lesson followed by a luncheon, wine tasting, and prizes. If the morning just isn’t enough, we have provided an affordable afternoon add on 2 hour group lesson (1:00pm – 3:00pm) with the same instructor. Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm. Drop In: $45.00 plus tax Four Pack: $150.00 plus tax PM Add On: $42.00 plus tax.

Every Wednesday, our events crew will present you with unique challenges to be completed in one minute, complete the task and move onto the next round! These games are for the whole family to get involved with, cheer each other on as these seemingly simple tasks are attempted. There will be tons of prize giveaways, so come down to Happy Valley for your chance to participate.

3:30pm to 8:00pm - $10 Friday Night Skiing!

Join us for the best deal on the slopes. Purchase an evening ski pass for just ten bucks! Plus, you can rent your equipment and clothing for just $10 each additionally on Friday Nights! $10 Friday Night starts at 3:30pm and ends 8:00pm, and runs on the Plaza Chair, Bullet Express and TELUS Park Chair (weather permitting).
