Kelsey Serwa Autographing Posters

This Saturday, January 22 at 3pm Kelsey Serwa ranked #1 in the World in Women’s Ski Cross and Freestyle Skiing will take time out of her demanding schedule to join us at Big White Ski Resort and will be autographing posters in the Village Centre Mall. Come and support this local hero! She will be supported by the junior racers from the Big White Race Team. The young racers are all very excited about meeting her and can’t wait for training to end on Saturday.

 
Big Whites’ very own Kelsey Serwa, granddaughter of Big White co-founder Cliff Serwa,  grew up in the Big White Racers program. Kelsey advanced through the ranks of the Canadian alpine skiing team before switching to ski cross racing in 2008. Just 3 years later 2011 has begun with a bang for Kelsey who has finished top 5 in all of her world cup races this year  including 2 second place finishes and a first at Alpe d'Huez in France! Kelsey is currently home from competitions in France and  preparing for the upcoming X-games which kicks off in Aspen in a week. The Ski Cross events will start on Friday the 28Th of January.
