Schumann resorts awarded “Best Place to session a precision terrain park” in the 2009 SBC Ski and Snowboard Resort Guide!

SBC Ski and Snowboard Resort Guide on news stands today awarded Schumann Resorts "Best Place to Session a Precision Terrain Park - Big White and Silver Star".

In a collaborative effort between seasoned park masterminds, dedicated grooming staff and a long lasting sponsorship commitment from TELUS means parks with safe, precision features all winter long, said SBC resort guide.
No wonder they've helped produce such talent as TJ Schiller, Mark Sollars, Geoff Pepperdine, Jess Kimura and Josh Bibby.

The SBC resort guides tip is "definitely spend some time in the ultra refined TELUS terrain parks at both Big White and Silver Star. TELUS and both resorts have invested millions of dollars in the design and upkeep of world class parks with immaculate features".

Also, adds Jess Kimura "Get more bang for your buck with the dual mountain passes that are the same price but valid at both resorts. What you see is what you get, there is no stuck up luxury resort attitudes here, the true definition of ski in, ski out. You can literally jump off your balcony onto the runs. It also adds some urban jib flavor to the cat tracks, with plenty of rails jibs, wall rides and ledges" continued Kimura.

"I was very pleased to walk in to the Toronto Ski and Snowboard show today, Canada's biggest ski and snowboard consumer event and be handed the award contained in the new SBC Resort Guide Magazine", commented Schumann Resorts Senior Vice President Michael J Ballingall.
“I am especially pleased that they recognized the extreme efforts of  our dedicated staff to produce our world class terrain parks. I am sure we'll celebrate when we all get back to the Okanagan as many of our team members are spread throughout North America and Europe at various consumer shows at this time of year”.
