Support the Big White Fire Department as they camp out on the roof of the Kids Centre. Supporting ALS Canada & ALS Society of BC.

The Big White Fire Department is thrilled to announce its 12th Annual Rooftop Campout fundraiser. Their crew will be camping out on top of the Kids’ Center from March 15th to 17th, where you can join in the fun games, buy 50/50 tickets, and enter the raffle draw.

The fire department holds the yearly rooftop campout to raise money for charitable organizations. This year, we’re supporting the ALS Society of BC. Your donations will help them continue providing access to support services and equipment for families and individuals living with ALS in British Columbia and the Yukon. Additionally, the funds raised will support research into finding a cure for ALS, which many leading researchers believe is a matter of when not if. However, research discovery is limited only by the funding available, making the fundraiser an important vehicle for progress.

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a debilitating disease that has no known cure or treatment, and it gradually takes away people’s ability to walk, talk, and eventually breathe. We’re hoping to reach our fundraising goal of $10,000.00 and would appreciate your support. You can donate through the secure online form provided below or in person at any of our community events. Also, this year’s Rooftop Campout Shirt can be purchased at the fire station located at 7555 Porcupine Road in Big White. The station is open every day from 9 am to 5 pm.

Show your support by visiting them in the village where there will be lots of family-friendly activities, special t-shirts for sale, 50/50 tickets, and raffle prizes.

All are welcome and all donations are appreciated!
